ICYMI: Missouri GOP Hails National Day of Action As Overwhelming Success
JEFFERSON CITY, MO — On Saturday, the Missouri Republican Party joined a bevy of other state parties in hosting a National Day of Action in conjunction with the Republican National Committee. Volunteers from across the state ventured out into their communities to talk about the benefits of the tax reform bill signed into law by President Trump.
In seven offices across the state, the Missouri GOP welcomed 107 participants for training and door-to-door contact. The 71 volunteers who participated in door-to-door voter contact in varying neighborhoods combined for a whopping 3,586 total doors knocked. Missouri GOP Executive Director Sam Cooper hailed the event as an “overwhelming success.”
“Because of the hard work of our volunteers and field staff, our National Day of Action was a huge success as we reached thousands of voters in one day,” said Cooper. “As we near closer to November, we will continue to build on this grassroots momentum and work every day to ensure that our message makes it to all corners of Missouri.”
