The Circus Continues

Over the weekend, justice and due process prevailed and Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed and sworn in as a Supreme Court Justice.

Unsurprisingly, Claire McCaskill voted “NO” on Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination, and even opted for a silent vote so that Missourians wouldn’t hear her vote against their interests. Throughout this entire process, Claire McCaskill has made a concerted effort to keep her true intentions hidden from Missourians and proved further that her allegiances lie with Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, not Missourians.

After Justice Kavanaugh was confirmed and sworn in, there were immediate calls for impeachment. But the most alarming reaction was from Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi called the confirmation of Justice Kavanaugh a “dark chapter” that has “wounded the very soul of justice in our country,” and then called for the FBI files to be released in an attempt to prolong this circus even longer. Make no mistake, liberals will do anything to get Justice Kavanaugh out of his seat.

But there’s one lingering question for Missouri: will Claire McCaskill buck party leadership and put an end to the continuation of this smear campaign? Just as she was silent for months after the nomination of Justice Kavanaugh, Claire has remained silent as party leadership and liberal activists are trying everything they can to impeach Justice Kavanaugh.

“Claire McCaskill went against the interests of Missourians when she obstructed yet another one of President Trump’s nominees and voted ‘NO’ on Justice Kavanaugh. Now Nancy Pelosi and liberal Democrats are calling for impeachment and attempting to prolong this circus, and Claire McCaskill is nowhere to be found,” said Chris Nuelle, spokesperson for the Missouri Republican Party.

Nuelle continued, “Claire McCaskill has repeatedly argued that she’s a moderate, and even cut an ad trying to convince Missourians of that fact, but she’s repeatedly refused to buck party leadership. Claire needs to denounce the factions within her own party for their shameful attempts to keep this smear campaign going, otherwise, she’s just another Washington liberal.”
