Claire McCaskill’s Very Bad Week
Claire McCaskill had a no good, very bad week this week (seems to be a trend). Here’s a quick rundown of the news stories and polls that came out about Claire McCaskill this week:
Monday: A new Morning Consult poll showed that Claire McCaskill had a measly 37% approval rating, making her the most unpopular Senator on the November ballot.
Tuesday: Claire banned recording from her “public” town hall and hid behind a pillar until all cameras were removed.
Thursday: Josh Hawley’s new ad had footage of Claire completely shunning rural voters, saying “I can lose a few votes in the Bootheel.”
“This week proved that Claire McCaskill is not the ‘open’ and ‘transparent’ Senator that she claims to be, and exposed her true feelings about talking to rural voters,” said Chris Nuelle, spokesperson for the Missouri Republican Party.
Nuelle continued, “This week also showed that Claire and Chuck Schumer’s message isn’t resonating with Missourians and that the Show-Me State is ready to head in a different direction. With only twenty-five days left to go, it’s simply not looking good for Claire McCaskill.”
