Missouri is Open for Business

Governor Mike Parson responded with bold action to confront COVID-19 and keep Missourians safe, making it possible for Missouri to reopen for business.

Missourians are ready to get back to work to support their families and help grow our state’s economy after the unprecedented coronavirus forced the closure of large parts of Missouri’s economy.

Governor Parson showed strong leadership and addressed this crisis head-on. The governor took unprecedented actions to protect the health and well-being of all Missourians. His actions helped ensure hospitals got the medical equipment they needed and slowed the spread of the virus to protect the health of Missourians.

Governor Parson’s leadership made it possible for our state to reopen for business.  This is why Missouri’s labor market began a rebound in May with an employment increase of nearly 34,000 jobs.  This is a great sign of progress, but Governor Parson knows we have more economic recovery work to do.

Missouri will recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.  All of us can do our part to help Missouri recover by supporting small businesses, especially those that sell products “Made in Missouri.”
We need to support leaders like Governor Parson who are Leading Right and getting Missourians back to work and our economy growing again in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis.
