‘Defund the Police’ Gaining Steam; If Nicole Galloway Had Her Way, St. Louis and Kansas City Could Be Next

Jefferson City – Missouri Republican Party Executive Director Jean Evans today issued the following statement calling on Nicole Galloway to explain to Missourians why she supports the Left’s “Defund the Police” initiative:

“The Left is putting ‘Defund the Police’ into action with the support of liberals like Nicole Galloway.  New York City just passed a budget that includes significant efforts to defund the city’s police department.  St. Louis and Kansas City could be next if Nicole Galloway has her way.  Nicole Galloway’s support for this dangerous and growing movement across our country will make our streets and communities less safe.”

New York City just passed a budget that included Defund the Police cuts.  Nicole Galloway supports an initiative in Kansas City that would give more power to liberal Democrats who support defunding the police.  Her liberal supporters in St. Louis City also support a plan to Defund the Police.
