Howell County Lincoln Day
May 18 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
West Plains Civic Center Exhibit Hall
Jefferson City – Nicole Galloway is refusing to condemn calls for violence against her opponents and continues to support a local mayor who called for Republicans to be murdered while she cheered him on. The mayor spoke immediately before Galloway at a Democratic rally on September 20. Eleven days later Galloway is still refusing to condemn or denounce the remarks and continues to support the mayor who made them.
“Nicole Galloway is backed by extreme liberals, supports extreme liberal policies and won’t condemn extreme statements and actions by extreme liberals because she does not want to alienate her extreme liberal ‘base,’” said Jean Evans, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party. “When a local mayor called for Republicans to be murdered, Nicole refused to condemn or denounce the remarks. When her state party chair posted a photo on social media celebrating violence against law enforcement, Nicole refused to condemn or denounce his actions. Nicole’s silence is a shameful endorsement of violence against her opponents and our men and women in blue.”
