ICYMI: Claire Votes Against Border Security

“As usual, Claire McCaskill joined Chuck Schumer, and signed-on to his amendment that weakens border security and undermines our ability to enforce immigration law on those trying to enter our country illegally,” said Sam Cooper, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party. “Missouri sent a clear message to Washington in 2016: protect our borders. But by voting to weaken our borders, Claire McCaskill continues to ignore the will of her constituents and threatens the safety of our country. Sadly, this isn’t the only time Claire has favored illegal immigrants over the American people – she voted against Kate’s Law, and supported Sanctuary Cities. In fact – her campaign website mentions nothing about protecting our borders. This is yet another example of Claire talking like a moderate when she’s in Missouri, but voting like a radical liberal when she’s in D.C.”
