Jill Schupp Ditches Job to Raise Money with Nancy Pelosi
ST. LOUIS—One of first things Jill Schupp did after she made her campaign for Congress official on Tuesday was to fly to Washington, DC, to raise money with Nancy Pelosi.
While Schupp’s State Senate colleagues were working through an all-night filibuster, Schupp was rubbing elbows with Nancy Pelosi and the national political director for Planned Parenthood, Yasmin Radjy.
“In case Missourians were wondering where Jill Schupp’s priorities are, her eagerness to put Nancy Pelosi ahead of her job representing them in the State Senate should make it crystal clear,” said Jean Evans, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party. “Schupp ditched her job responsibilities because Pelosi summoned her to Washington. If elected to Congress, Schupp would be a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi and her gang of liberals.”
Missouri Senate Journals confirm that Schupp was absent for votes on Tuesday, and was absent for all business on Wednesday, and Thursday.
