Missouri Democrats in Disarray

If Missourians needed yet another reason to vote Republican in November, the Missouri Democrats’ awful past couple of days should be enough to convince voters.

Back in July, the Missouri Democrats faced the possibility of an amendment that would allow pro-life members to be included in their official platform. However, on Saturday, after an uproar, the so-called “party of inclusivity” completely scrapped the language and essentially shunned a huge chunk of voters from their party.

That’s right, the Missouri Democrats couldn’t even handle having pro-life members, and they had to get rid of that amendment to assuage the activists and fringe elements in their own party.

The Missouri Democrats sent a message to Missourians on Saturday: if you don’t support abortion on-demand, you have absolutely no place near our “inclusive” party.

One thing is clear: the Missouri Democrats and Claire McCaskill certainly don’t represent the people of Missouri, given that a huge portion of Missourians don’t agree with killing unborn lives.

If the Missouri Democrats and Claire McCaskill want to be taken seriously, they need to stop catering to the fringe elements of their party and actually listen to voters – but history has proven that time and again they’ve done the complete opposite of what Missourians want.

If you’re a Democrat in Missouri that doesn’t support the wholesale killing of unborn life, you may just be out of luck!
