Missouri GOP Applauds Dismissal of Case Against Lieutenant Governor Kehoe

JEFFERSON CITY, MO — The Missouri Republican Party released the following statement regarding the dismissal of the case against the appointment of Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe:

“We applaud Judge Beteem’s decision to dismiss this unnecessary case against Lieutenant Governor Mike Kehoe. A properly functioning Lieutenant Governor’s office is crucial to the General Assembly and beyond, and the Missouri Constitution gives Governor Parson the authority to fill that vacancy,” said Chris Nuelle, a spokesperson for the Missouri GOP.

“Since assuming the office, Lieutenant Governor Kehoe has already worked to build relationships across the state and his efforts to ensure that his duties are fulfilled go above and beyond. Now that this case has thankfully been dismissed, we’re eager to continue to work with Lieutenant Governor Kehoe to move Missouri forward.”
