JEFFERSON CITY, MO — The Missouri Republican Party released the following statement:

“The Missouri Republican Party applauds Representative Hannah Kelly and the Missouri House of Representatives for their work in sponsoring a bill that would implement a work requirement for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program,” said Chris Nuelle, a spokesman for the Missouri Republican Party.

Nuelle continued, “The bill will motivate people to obtain quality jobs and introduce more people to the workforce while simultaneously stimulating the economy and bettering communities. This measure will be good for Missouri and hopefully other states will soon follow suit.”
