Missouri GOP Statement on Signing of Income Tax Cuts

JEFFERSON CITY, MO — The Missouri Republican Party recognizes the hard work of State Representative Elijah Haahr and the General Assembly in passing income tax reform, and applauds Governor Parson for signing that tax reform bill into law today.

Chris Nuelle, a spokesperson for the Missouri Republican Party said, “For too long, Missourians have been unnecessarily burdened by income tax rates. Representative Haahr and the General Assembly took a step in the right direction by working to lower those rates, which will allow Missourians to keep more of their hard earned money. We’re certainly grateful to have conservative leaders like Representative Haahr, and we applaud Governor Parson for signing this bill into law today.”
