Missouri Republican Party Applauds Missouri Legislature’s Historic Accomplishments in 2018 Session
JEFFERSON CITY, MO – As the 2018 legislative session closes, the Missouri Republican Party looks back and applauds the historic accomplishments of the Missouri Legislature.
Due to the dedication of conservative leadership this session, crucial bills and reforms made their way through the legislature and onto the Governor’s desk.
Amongst the many victories this year, paycheck protection affords Missourians more freedom and control over their money. Occupational licensing reform ensures Missourians will be able to seek out certain jobs without being subjected to burdensome regulations simply to enter the workforce.
Additionally, because of corporate and income tax reform and historic tax credit reform, Missourians will have more money in their pockets, Missouri businesses are able to reinvest, and the economy is reinvigorated.
“The Republican lead Missouri legislature delivered for the people of Missouri this year. Missourians will see more money in their pockets and less government in their lives,” said Chris Nuelle, a spokesman for the Missouri GOP.
“Heading into the fall election, voters will have a clear choice: electing Republicans who have delivered on creating jobs and minimizing bureaucracy, or Democrats who voted for bloated government and raising taxes,” continued Nuelle.
