Sam Cooper Announced as Missouri Republican Party Executive Director
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri Republican Party announces the start of Sam Cooper as its Executive Director.
Cooper, a native of Harrisonville, Missouri, comes to Jefferson City from Washington, D.C. where he served as Senator Ted Cruz’s Director of Strategic Initiatives. Prior to that, he served as a regional political director to Cruz’s 2016 presidential campaign, where he oversaw the political operations in 12 states, including key wins in Kansas and Wisconsin. During the 2012 and 2014 election cycles Cooper worked as an associate at Axiom Strategies, helping guide both congressional and statewide campaigns to victory across the country.
“We are excited to welcome Sam Cooper to Missouri as Executive Director of the Party,” said Todd Graves, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party. “Sam is a data-driven campaign operative who has experience at both the national and state levels successfully electing Republicans. On our team, he will work to maintain and grow Missouri’s Republican majority up and down the ballot, as well as promote Governor Greitens’ conservative agenda.”
“I am thrilled to come home to Missouri to expand on the gains Republicans have made in recent years,” Cooper said. “Missouri is a conservative state and deserves conservative representation. I look forward to working with grassroots leaders across Missouri to continue electing strong Republicans to Congress and grow our majorities in the General Assembly.”
