Missouri Republican Party Touts Grassroots Success Heading Into Day of Action
JEFFERSON CITY, MO — Heading into their Day of Action, when they will join the RNC and other state parties in knocking doors and making phone calls across Missouri, the Missouri Republican Party is pleased to announce the strength of its grassroots efforts so far in 2018.
This year, the Missouri Republican Party has:
- Knocked on over 20,000 doors
- Made over 70,000 phone calls
- Gathered over 1,300 signatures on petitions
- Held 22 Republican Leadership Initiative grassroots training sessions
- Additionally, the Missouri Republican Party has grown their staff, with 188 active Republican Leadership Initiative fellows, 5 Regional Field Directors, 10 Field Organizers, and 15 full-time staff. With 7 offices statewide, the Missouri GOP is continually expanding its grassroots efforts.
Chris Nuelle, a spokesman for the Missouri GOP, said, “The grassroots momentum behind the Missouri Republican Party and Republicans down the ballot is growing every day. Missouri GOP field staff are working hard to expand our grassroots network, build a statewide coalition, and talk to as many Missourians as possible heading into 2018.”
Nuelle continued, “The Missouri Republican Party will continue to outwork our opponents at the grassroots level to maintain our super majorities and defeat Claire McCaskill in November.”
The Missouri Republican Party’s “Day of Action” will take place on April 14th.
