MOGOP Calls on SEMO Democrats to Denounce Claire McCaskill’s Comments

 

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Today, the Missouri Republican Party called on Democratic candidates and elected officials in Southeast Missouri to denounce Claire McCaskill’s comments when she was caught on video shunning rural voters in the Bootheel.

The Missouri Republican Party is calling on Missouri Democrats to denounce Claire McCaskill’s comment.

“Claire McCaskill’s words in the captured video couldn’t have been clearer where she completely shunned a huge swath of rural voters in the Bootheel and elsewhere. Since then, every single Democrat elected official and candidate in Southeast Missouri has been completely silent,” said Chris Nuelle, spokesperson for the Missouri Republican Party.

Nuelle continued, “Bootheel voters deserve to know why their representative won’t denounce Claire McCaskill’s comments shunning their very votes. We call on every single Democrat elected official and candidate in Southeast Missouri to denounce Claire McCaskill’s comments about Bootheel voters.”
