MOGOP Chairman Congratulates Brother Sam Graves on Promotion to Ranking Member of Transportation and Infrastructure Committee
JEFFERSON CITY, MO – MOGOP Chairman Todd Graves released the following statement congratulating his brother Congressman Sam Graves on being selected as ranking member on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee:
“It’s an honor to congratulate Congressman Graves on being promoted by his colleagues to be the Ranking Member on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee – a position he is overwhelmingly qualified for,” said Graves.
Graves continued, “Congressman Graves has served in Congress for 18 years, and has been a member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee during his entire tenure, working to provide solutions to a problem that has continually plagued Missouri and our agriculture industry: a crumbling infrastructure. As the former Chairman of the Small Business Committee, veteran of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, a skilled pilot, and a lifelong Missourian, Congressman Graves possesses a potent mix of real world experience and policy depth that will lead to solutions to update and fix Missouri’s 34,000 highway miles and 10,400 bridges. I look forward to seeing the great work that my brother will be able to achieve in his new role.”
