MOGOP Statement on the Passing of Betty Sims

John Hancock, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party, released the following statement on the passing of former State Senator Betty Sims:

“Betty Sims was a dear friend for almost 30 years, and I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing.  Betty was a great leader and a true trailblazer in Missouri politics. An effective legislator of the highest personal integrity, Betty was well liked on both sides of the aisle. Georgann and I offer our sincerest condolences to the Sims family.”
