Nicole Galloway Refuses to Denounce Support for Violence Against Police by Her State Party Chair

Jefferson City – Jean Evans, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party, today said Nicole Galloway’s refusal to denounce actions by her state party chair glorifying and supporting violence against law enforcement shows she cannot be trusted to support Missouri’s men and women in blue.

Nicole Galloway’s pick for Missouri Democratic State Party Chair, former State Rep. Clem Smith, was named to the post in July and has come under fire for prominently posting a burned-out cop car as the banner for his social media.

“It has been two months since Nicole Galloway’s pick for Missouri Democratic Party Chair was announced, and for two months Galloway has been silent about his disturbing actions glorifying and supporting violence against law enforcement,” Evans said.  “Missouri law enforcement put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe while Nicole Galloway and her state party seek to defund them, disarm them and degrade them with disgusting photos like the one Galloway’s state party chair posted. This disturbing post showing support for violence against law enforcement symbolizes a Missouri Democratic Party that is being run by the radical left with ‘defund the police’ as its campaign slogan and Nicole Galloway at the top of the most left-wing statewide ticket ever assembled in Missouri.”

    Polk County Lincoln Day Banquet

    The Polk County Republican Central Committee will be hosting a Lincoln Day Banquet on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, at McClelland Dining Facility on the campus of Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, MO, beginning at 6:00 pm. Doors will open at 5:00 pm to put out literature and greet attendees. Cost of the meal will be $25 each. All candidates for office will be introduced.
