MOGOP Statement on President Trump’s Visit to St. Charles

The Missouri Republican Party released this statement following the announcement of President Trump’s visit to St. Charles on Wednesday:

“We are very excited to welcome President Trump back to Missouri to discuss his tax reform initiative,” said Todd Graves, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party. “President Trump is determined to ease the tax burden on our citizens and businesses, and I am proud to stand with Missouri Republican leaders to support him in this effort. The House has already passed a historic tax cut bill, and now it’s time for the Senate to act – although it’s unfortunate to see Senator McCaskill defy the will of Missourians by refusing to support tax reform. Not only is she continuing to obstruct President Trump, she’s obstructing the American people by trying to deny them a pay raise that would help families and businesses prosper. I hope she will do what is right, and vote in support of the middle class tax cut that Missouri families deserve.”
