Scott Fitzpatrick To Be Missouri’s Next State Auditor
Jefferson City, Mo. — Tuesday, Scott Fitzpatrick will be Missouri’s next state auditor after easily securing the majority of votes.
Missouri State Treasurer Scott Fitzpatrick beat his Democrat opponent, Representative Alan Green, by double-digits in the race to be the state’s next auditor. Before being appointed by Governor Mike Parson to be state treasurer, Scott Fitzpatrick served in the Missouri House of Representatives, where he acted as Chairman of the House Budget Committee.
“Scott Fitzpatrick will be a great auditor for Missouri,” said The Missouri Republican Party Chairman Nick Myers. “During his time in the Missouri House Representatives, Fitzpatrick supported conservative policies, and as Treasurer he has stood up to the Biden administration to protect the interests of all Missourians. His knowledge of the state budget and knowledge of the interaction of governmental entities within Missouri makes auditor-elect Fitzpatrick ready to do his duty on inauguration day and every day thereafter.”
