The Annual Free Watermelon Feed, co-hosted by the Republican Women of Newton County and the Newton County Republican Central Committee, will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 6:30 P.M. at Big Spring Park, 308 West Spring St., Neosho, MO 64850.
Candidates for Newton County Courthouse Office with a contest on the August Ballot will be given 3 minutes each to address the crowd. Candidates will speak in ballot order. Statewide office holders are invited to attend and speak.
The Free Watermelon Feed is open to all Republicans. Ice cold watermelon and bottled water, free of charge . All you need to bring is your lawn chairs, appetite, and friends & neighbors.
A straw quiz will be available to those in attendance. The straw quiz will serve as entry into a drawing for prizes. The drawing will take place at the conclusion of the Free Watermelon Feed.
In case of rain, the Free Watermelon Feed will be moved to the Lampo Building 500 East Spring Neosho, MO 64850 at 6:30 P.M.
