Statement from Missouri Republican Party on the Step by the U.S. House to Repeal Obamacare

JEFFERSON CITY – “President Trump and Republicans in Congress made a promise to repeal the epic disaster known as Obamacare – and today, House Republicans took an important step to follow through on that promise,” said Austin Stukins, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party. “Now, we look to the Senate to do its part, so we can finally put an end to the Obamacare mandate and its tentacles that are destroying our healthcare system and bankrupting the American people.”

In closing, Stukins points out that this begs a monumental question for Missouri’s Senior Senator: “Will Claire McCaskill  stand with the vast majority of Missouri voters and vote to repeal and replace Obamacare, or will she once again place the priorities of her party over the priorities of her constituents?”
