Statement from MOGOP Chairman Todd Graves Regarding Sen. Al Franken

Today, MOGOP Chairman Todd Graves released the following statement regarding the recent allegations of sexual misconduct surrounding Senator Al Franken:

“Claire McCaskill and the Missouri Democratic Party have received a significant amount of cash raised as a result of Al Franken’s visit to the state to join Claire in a headlined event last month – in fact, Franken’s PAC has given thousands to McCaskill and the Missouri Democrats,” said Todd Graves, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party. “Claire has called Franken a ‘star’ who shines ‘the brightest light on wrongdoing and malfeasance,’ but she is flatly wrong. Claire McCaskill should call for Franken’s resignation and return every cent she and the Missouri Democrats have received traceable to him immediately.”
