Victory for Teachers, Students, and Families

The Missouri Republican Party released this statement following the State Board of Education’s vote today:

“As the son of a public school teacher, I am thrilled to see Governor Greitens making the changes needed to improve Missouri’s public education system, and making a true difference in the lives of all of our children, teachers and families across the state,” said Sam Cooper, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party. “Governor Greitens has fully funded public education, investing more in our children than ever before, and strongly supports a pay raise for our hard-working teachers. Under Greitens’ watch, bureaucracy and wasteful spending are over, and public education will start to experience true support and development due to the Governor’s commitment to advancing classroom learning for our children, a higher quality of life for our teachers and better, stronger Missouri families.“
