We Compiled Kavanaugh’s Record, So Claire Doesn’t Have To
On Monday, Claire McCaskill dodged the question of whether she’ll vote for President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh.
In a statement, she said that she looked forward to “thoroughly examining Judge Kavanaugh’s record” in the coming weeks.
This is classic Claire McCaskill, and Missourians are tired of the delays – this position is too important.
So, since Claire needs to “examine” Judge Kavanaugh (to make sure her vote doesn’t upset the Resistance and donors), we put together a list of Judge Kavanaugh’s accomplishments, so Claire can fast-track her decision:
- Educated at Yale College and Yale Law School
- Notes Editor of the Yale Law Journal
- Clerk for Judge Alex Kozinski of the Ninth Circuit
- Clerk for Judge Walter Stapleton of the Third Circuit
- Clerk for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy
- Fellow at the Office of the Solicitor General of the United States
- Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, one of the most prestigious private law firms in America
- Associate Counsel at the Office of Independent Counsel
- Senior Associate Counsel and Associate Counsel to the President, White House Counsel’s Office
- Assistant to the President and Staff Secretary for George W. Bush
- Currently a Judge on U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
As you can see, Brett Kavanaugh is eminently qualified to serve on the United States Supreme Court.
Claire, now that you know that Judge Kavanaugh has the necessary accomplishments (and then some) to serve as a Supreme Court Justice, it’s time to confirm him.
A majority of Missourians want Judge Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. What are you waiting for, Claire?
