Where’s Nicole? Galloway Still Ducking ‘Defund the Police’ Questions

Jefferson City – Missouri Republican Party Executive Director Jean Evans today issued the following statement calling on Nicole Galloway to come forward and publicly denounce the “Defund the Police” movement:

“Nicole Galloway and her new Missouri Democratic Party Chair, Clem Smith refuse to publicly denounce the ‘Defund the Police’ policies being added to Democrat Party platforms.  Now Galloway is refusing to take a stand against a controversial photo posted by Clem Smith featuring a burned-out police vehicle that served as the banner for his Twitter page.  The chairman of Nicole Galloway’s state party prominently posting a destroyed police vehicle suggests a view of law enforcement even more troubling than funding.  Nicole Galloway’s refusal to publicly denounce ‘Defund the Police’ and the destruction of police property shows her marching in lockstep with the radical left of her Party and supporting policies that would make our streets less safe.”
