Howell County Lincoln Day
May 18 @ 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
West Plains Civic Center Exhibit Hall
JEFFERSON CITY – Jean Evans, Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party, today issued the following statement calling on Nicole Galloway to withdraw her endorsement of liberal activist Cori Bush for her comments in support of defunding law enforcement and defunding the Pentagon: “Nicole Galloway endorsed Cori Bush. Nicole Galloway is campaigning with Cori Bush. Nicole Galloway is sending political fundraising emails for Cori Bush. But when challenged about Cori Bush’s extreme views in support of defunding the police and defunding our troops, Nicole Galloway is attempting to distance herself from the radical views of Cori Bush. Missouri voters will not be fooled by Nicole Galloway. Cori Bush and Nicole Galloway have disrespected Missouri law enforcement with their support for defunding the police. Now Cori Bush and Nicole Galloway are disrespecting our troops and veterans with their support for defunding the Pentagon. If Nicole Galloway wants to withdraw her support for defunding the police and defunding the Pentagon, she must first withdraw her support for Cori Bush by withdrawing her endorsement.” |
