Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) to Speak at Missouri Lincoln Days

JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Republican Party is pleased to announce Senator James Lankford (R-Oklahoma) as the keynote speaker for the Friday night banquet at the 2017 Missouri Lincoln Days.

“Republicans had widespread success on Election Day thanks to strong conservative leaders like Senator James Lankford,” said Todd Graves, Chairman of the Missouri Republican Party.  “Senator Lankford has been a guiding light during his time in Washington, holding strong to his convictions and to our Constitution.  Lincoln Days will give Missourians across the state an opportunity to thank Senator Lankford for his service, and to hear about how he plans to move this country forward alongside his colleagues in Congress and the Trump administration.”

Senator Lankford is a member of the U.S. Senate, and has represented the State of Oklahoma since 2010 when he was elected to the the U.S. House of Representatives.  In the U.S. House, he was named Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee, and currently serves on several distinguished committees in the Senate.  Prior to being elected to Congress, Lankford was Director of Falls Creek Youth Camp, which is the largest youth camp in the United States.

Lankford has been a strong voice for fiscal discipline and government accountability.  He’s a leader on efforts to cut burdensome government regulations that prevent economic growth and suffocate businesses.

“We are thrilled to welcome Senator Lankford to this year’s Lincoln Days and couldn’t be more pleased to have such a strong voice as a part of our Friday night banquet,” said Cheryl Dawson-Spaulding, President of the Missouri Association of Republicans.  “Conservative principles are important to Missouri Republicans, and Senator Lankford is someone who has continuously made those values a priority in Washington.”

This year’s Missouri Lincoln Days will take place in Springfield, Missouri at the University Plaza Hotel on February 24 – 26, 2017.  For additional details or to register, please visit www.lincolndays.missouri.gop.
